PROTECTED BY NATURE
The Roztocze region of Southeastern Poland, the location of our source, is natural, pristine and non-industrialized. The aquifer from which we source Rodowita has been accumulating mineralized water for thousands of years. The protected buffer zone surrounding our source, which includes the Roztocze National Park, is nearly 150 square miles.
Roztocze is an area where the purity of nature may still be found. In fact, UNESCO added the Roztocze Transboundary Biosphere Reserve to its World Heritage list in 2019. The hamlet of Krasnobrod, where our source and bottling plant are located, lies at the feet of the Roztocze National Park, the most forested park in Poland. Several species of protected flora and fauna may be found there along with wild wolves, elk and lynx.
Source geology is extremely important. Our water is extracted at 120 meters below ground level from a deep, water bearing aquifer situated between two layers of permeable rock. It typically takes hundreds of years for water to pass through the upper level of rock, all the while enriching the water with minerals while filtering throughout the process. The end result is Rodowita z Roztocze, essential minerals replenishment and all day healthy hydration.
The land of the Roztocze region combined with the extraordinary geological formation of our source guarantees the natural purity, protection and mineralization of our water.
